The Grand Forks Art Gallery celebrates the human spirit and imagination by promoting the appreciation and enjoyment of the visual arts through the work of both established and emerging artists. The exhibition schedule is designed to provide a broad context of art philosophies, to express their relevance and to maintain high standards in the context of the current cultural climate, while at the same time maintaining a strong educational value to a broad audience with work ranging from children’s art, emerging artists, to senior and internationally recognized artists. Examples of the gallery’s on-going commitment to this programming include: regularly scheduled concert and performance series - on average two shows a month, exhibitions openings - on average 16 exhibitions a year, artist talks, unique and fun fundraisers, an annual wine tasting event, and an annual regional showcase.
